Move this shortcut to the Desktop and double click it to the run the game.
It will create a shortcut which will have the same Seasons icon with the scarf and will be called something like "Sims2EP5 - Shortcut". Then right click on it in the TSBin and choose "Create Shortcut".
Once all those are deleted, go to ThisPC>Desktop>Sims2Seasons>GameFiles>NoCD and copy "Sims2EP5" then go to the TSBin in Program Files (there should be no Sims2EP5 here before because you should have deleted it) and paste it. In Program Files, delete "Sims2EP5" in the TSBin. So on your desktop, delete "Sims 2 Seaons" and "Sims 2 EP5". If you have an existing lot, Sim, object or neighborhood that does not seem to be improved by this patch, we recommend that you replace the affected object, or create either a new family, lot or neighborhood, depending on what is affected by the bug. The exe is only used to run the game and is the same on everyone's computer, it doesn't contain any user data so backing it up won't help for that. NOTE: Not all fixes will take effect on existing The Sims 2 Seasons saved games. Okay, I think I understand now - just to clarify, to backup your save folder you go to Documents/EA Games/ and copy and paste the folder inside ("The Sims 2") somewhere safe, like your desktop, Google Drive, etc.
